INTERIOR DESIGN AND PRESERVATION STUDIO 2

The experience of the Lab aims to be, first and foremost, training for the outlook, learning to observe and listen, in a new way, what surrounds us.
It is an approach and premise necessary to preserve and enhance the heritage of the Modern.
The challenge that we set for ourselves is to try and think of the Eni Village not as a cumbersome restriction, but rather as an (architectural, spatial, economical, social…) opportunity.
And then, examining the history of Gellner’s architecture, touching and studying its (often innovative and experimental) materials and the building techniques means understanding the actual possibilities of preservation and upkeep.
The objective is to enhance the existing, through its conscious transformation, which necessarily becomes an architectural project.
