Thanks to an approach of recovery, it occurs important to reflect on space beginning by acknowledging its relational potential. Starting from the intrinsic complexity of these places, it was was decided to focus the attention on the act of seeing, usually the first act in the relationship between the self and the other.
In order to achieve this the vegetation surrounding the building blocking the visitors view was cut and by clearing the actual rooftop the traces of elapsed time recorded in the metal roof plates were subsequently exposed. Adding both a ladder and a set of steps subtly implies human intervention and exemplifies our exceptional relationship with our surroundings. Through the simple act of cleaning, it is suggested that the transition between the act of looking and that of seeing, signifies as founding moment of a conscious perception.
