From the 1st through the 6th of August, Progettoborca will host the architecture workshop Abitare condiviso (Shared living). The workshop will be held thanks to the collaboration between Dolomiti Contemporanee, Casabella Training and ProviaggiArchitettura.
A workshop set inside the environment, in which architects come today to what used to be a huge and innovative historical “contruction site” of modernist social architecture, bringing with it its own contribution to Progettoborca‘s regenerative platform.
And, in the 1950s, the Villaggio Borca was wanted by, most of all, Enrico Mattei, a great business strategist and authentic architect of shared habitation.
In the Colonia Montana di Borca‘s extraordinary venture, conceived by Mattei and designed by Edoardo Gellner, the Eni populace lived a new experience of aggregation, socalising, and welfare for decades, the likes of which Italy hadn’t experienced yet, back then.
The workshop’s speakers are going to be Edoardo Narne, Simone Sfriso (with TAMassociati curator of the Italian Pavillion at the Architecture Biennale of Venice 2016), Gianluca D’Incà Levis, Roberto Bosi, Michele Merlo (Gellner Studio).
The workshop is open to architects: taking part in it guarantees the awarding of 12 professional credit points by CNAPPC.
