During the open-studio they will present a series of artworks and installations realised in Borca. A complex endeavor, theirs, which gives back a new image, a myriad of prompts, to rethink the meaning, the present, the destiny of this extraordinary place. Its potential is huge, and we’re trying to reactivate it now, through imagination and planning (the imaginative planning).
Marta Allegri will present, then, a work-in-progress, first glimpse of an artwork that will be completed next spring.
Fabiano De Martin will present a previously unreleased large wooden sculpture.
Many other artists whom have worked in the past few months in the village, during this first season of progettoborca will be there, too: they will lead to the discovery of their artworks scattered in the enormous compound, no longer abandoned, of the Colonia.
Stefano Cagol will be attending with The Body of Energy, a transnational nomadic project which moves through Europe, stopping in different places of production of physical and cultural energy. TBOE will arrive in Borca on the 8th of November ad on the 9th in Casso. It will gather portraits of energy, interacting with the surroundings and involving the public (the project is supported by RWE foundation).
